Actor Rejects Anti-Vaccine Stance Following Narrating Disputed Covid Film

Liam Neeson has provided his narration to a feature-length documentary that questions the efficacy of vaccines and praises ex- cabinet secretary RFK Jr.

The Feature's Contentious Basis

Called "Plague of Corruption," the project is inspired by a well-known publication published by a controversial scientist, who rose to infamy during the global outbreak for claims that the virus was caused by a problematic version of the seasonal immunization.

Her collaborator, a producer, has also written books with controversial radio host a known commentator. He recently posted praising Neeson's involvement in the documentary.

A Firm Rebuttal

Representatives for Neeson have issued a comment pushing back against suggestions that he subscribes to anti-vaccine views.

"Everyone can understand that corruption can exist within the medical sector, but that should never be equated to being against vaccines," the comment reads. "Neeson has never been, and is not, anti-vaccination. His considerable work with the global charity reinforces his consistent support for public-health initiatives."

The statement noted that the actor had no hand in the film's editorial content and that questions about its claims are best addressed to the creators.

Key Themes Featured in the Feature

As presented, the voiceover spoken by Neeson features several provocative points:

  • It states that pro-immunization voices have demanded "complete compliance" to public institutions.
  • It declares that "research has become dangerously influenced by politics."
  • Kennedy is interviewed claiming, "The big problem with vaccines is that they simply are not safely tested."
  • The narration also criticizes stay-at-home orders, saying they caused severe distress that cost thousands of lives.
  • Regarding the immunizations, it cites a view that they were "developed too quickly" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Previous Background and Current Disputes

The documentary also references a past television report about HIV drug testing on children, which was later the subject of a correction by the broadcaster for violations of guidelines.

Last month, Kennedy called on the Centers for Disease Control to change its long-held position that there is no link between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This claim is also referenced in the film, contrary to a new report from the global health body confirming no connection has been found.

A Previous Record of Support

Differing from the film's narrative, Neeson has in the past shown strong support for vaccines in his position as a charity ambassador.

Previously, he called vaccines as "a remarkable achievement," noting that "The debate about vaccines in lately has overlooked how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in human history."

The film concludes with Neeson's narration stating, "This isn't the end of our journey. Rather, it is the dawn of a different phase."
