Ex- Doctor Charged with Sexual Assault Charges Against 38 Patients
Legal authorities have stated that a ex- doctor now faces charges for performing sexual assaults against 38 individuals who were under his care.
Details of the Grave Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of numerous sexual offences – comprising acts against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021.
One deputy chief prosecutor said, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to assist a detailed and complex police inquiry, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
The Investigation
These allegations come after what investigators called a “detailed inquiry” into alleged sexual offences at two hospitals: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

Prosecutors outline the forty-five sexual offences comprise:
- Fifteen counts of assault.
- Seventeen counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
- Three counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration.
